I love to go to STC on Saturday mornings because I can embrace my identity as a Jew through singing Anim Z'mirot and Adon Olam and learning at youth minyan. It's also fun to read the weekly Torah portion in the chumash and discuss it with my dad. Lastly I love to go to STC because it's a nice friendly community of people that help you, care about you and have fun with you.
Shaarei Tefillah is not just a congregation. It is a community. My children love the Shabbat youth programming. The youth leaders create meaningful programs that spark our children’s curiosity and help inspire a love of Yiddishkeit. Kids feel engaged week after week, and look forward to groups as a time to learn, play, and grow.
The first time I met the Rabbi, he gave me a a great big bear hug and I knew I found my shul! STC has one of the warmest and welcoming congregations around.
I love being part of the shul because of how both the Rabbi and Rebbetzen make Torah learning so relevant to our lives. We are given the opportunity to grow without pressure, and with full heartfelt acceptance of where we are on our journey.
